Dear Birthmother,
We are Peter and Dana. We are excited to introduce ourselves to the person who may touch our lives in such a miraculous way. Though adoption is a blessing we know that it is also a time of difficult choices that you face in trying to do the best you can for you and your baby.
We have some understanding of the strength, love and sacrifice that adoption requires of you. We will raise this child to be proud of you and how they came into the world.
As a couple we bring out the best in each other. We are both nurturing, calm, compassionate people interested in the world with an optimistic approach to life. We laugh a lot together and find pleasure in simple things. We are both accomplished professionals with flexibility in our schedules to make lots of room for a child. We balance our lives with time for creativity, the outdoors, friends, family and travel. We cherish the gift of each other and our relationship and from that has grown a family of two along with our beloved animals built on love, respect and appreciation.
We knew we very much wanted to have a child together and it was a painful experience to try everything we could and not succeed. We are hopeful however for the possibility of adopting a child. Every child is a precious gift and we long to adopt a child to love with all of our hearts unconditionally for the rest of our lives.
We look forward with open hearts to this journey of adoption which has been a healing experience for us... We hope that it can also be a healing journey for you...
