Dear Birth Parents,
Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to introduce ourselves and tell you about our family. We are Pierre, Laurie and Ryan. We recognize that your great love for your unborn child is what prompts you to consider an adoption plan. We hope that we can make this easier for you by having you get to know us.
We have been married for 9 years. Having a family has always been important to us. It is something that we have both dreamed about since we met. In 2003, we were blessed with the birth of our son, Ryan, through invitrofertilization. We treasure him and all the moments we have together and know that they will be even more special with another child in our family.
Meet Pierre
My husband is a kind, loving man. His little jokes and smart remarks are a sign of his fun warm personality that always puts a smile on my face as well as others. He is a metal shop supervisor for a roofing company. Some of Pierre’s favorite pastimes include golfing, skiing, playing pool, watching football, spending time with family and friends, and playing with Ryan. Pierre has a brother that he is very close with. He has a 21 year old son named Quintin from a previous relationship and one nephew. Pierre is a wonderful father to Quintin and Ryan.
Meet Laurie
My wife Laurie is the most loving and motherly person I have ever met. Laurie is a 3rd grade teacher for Jefferson County School District. She is very passionate about her students and their learning. She enjoys traveling, shopping, reading, watching football and reality TV shows, going to movies, skiing, and spending time with family. Laurie has one sister with whom she is very close with. She has one niece and two nephews. Laurie is always planning wonderful adventures and activities for our son. Whether it is going to the zoo, swimming, riding bikes, or just playing in the yard with the neighbor kids, she absolutely loves being a mom.
Meet Ryan
Ryan is a bright, energetic, and loving 6 year old boy who is in first grade. He loves playing all sports but football is his favorite. Ryan is very kind-hearted. Our dream is for Ryan to have a brother or sister so he can experience the joys of having a sibling just like we did. Ryan can’t wait to be a big brother. Almost daily he talks about what he is going to teach his little brother or sister and how he is always going to take care of him or her.
We can’t wait to be chosen as adoptive parents. We are committed to offering this child a life of unconditional love and constant nurturing. We believe that he/she should always know and feel your love and we will do everything we can to make sure of that.
